“Mixed” Income Housing: With Segregated Entrances?

Here's exhibit A on how not to convince skeptical housing justice advocates (or anyone else) that mixed-income housing developments represent a step forward: Make the residents of the affordable units use a different door (and elevator and even maintenance company). (It appears to be a forgone conclusion that it's ok to keep any of them from having river views.)

This appears to be offensive enough to have generated a movement to deny the developer the tax breaks and inclusionary housing bonuses it is seeking for this project. Here's hoping that movement succeeds.
