Tarcyla Fidalgo has been the coordinator of the Favela-CLT Project since 2018. She holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the Institute of Urban Planning and Research at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Master of City Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. She has over 10 years of activism in the fight for land and housing rights, particularly in land regularization and eviction processes.
