Miriam Zuk is a partner at Ground Works Consulting. She has been advancing environmental and housing justice through research and policy for over 20 years. She is the cofounder of the Urban Displacement Project, a research and action lab at the University of California at Berkeley and is widely published on the issues of neighborhood change, gentrification, displacement, and equitable and sustainable development. Before becoming an urban planner, Miriam worked on improving air quality in urban environments, serving as the Deputy Director of Air Quality Research for the Mexican Ministry of Environment in the early 2000s.
