Usman Hameedi

Usman Hameedi is a Pakistani-American scientist, poet, and educator. He serves as Mass Poetry’s board chair and former Poetry Artist in Residence. His scientific career has focused on oncological and neurological diseases in academic and industry settings. He has competed in and coached for collegiate, national, and international poetry slams. His first full-length collection, Staying Right Here, was published by Button Poetry in April 2023.
