Kristen Hackett completed her Ph.D. in environmental psychology at The Graduate Center, CUNY in 2024. Her dissertation research examined the contested state of public housing in New York City today. She now works as a community organizer with My Eden Voice, where she continues to fight for housing and social justice in unincorporated Alameda County, California.
